  • 2026 Creative Art Society Visual Arts Scholarship Awards

    Southeastern Michigan High School or College student artists have a chance to win one of three prizes collective;y worth $1500 in Visual Arts Scholarship Awards. Applications accepted November 1st through April 15th MORE DETAILS available HERE

  • WCCCD Art Exhibits

    WCCCD has kindly hosted Creative Art Society members' artwork at the Brown and Juanita C. Ford Art Gallery, 21000 Northline Rd, Taylor, usually in spring. Thank you for attending the February reception with guest Martine MacDonald, who gave painting critiques and presented the annual ArtiMarti Award, which offers bragging rights but no cash prize. To join future exhibitions, contact Jackie Walock.

  • Keeping Local Arts Alive

    The mission of the CAS events, including the Fall Festival of the Arts and the Art Ambience events, along with the CAS Visual Scholarship fund and various other CAS art and craft activities, is to enhance the image of our community as a vibrant and thriving cultural area. We also aim to provide much-needed recognition and appreciation for the many talented artists living and working throughout Southeastern Michigan. At this year’s events, we are proud to have successfully met and even exceeded both of these important mission goals.

    We sincerely thank our dedicated members and generous supporters for their invaluable assistance in making it all possible for the southeastern Michigan art community.

  • 2025 Fall Festival of Arts at Downriver Council of the Arts in Wyandotte MI

    Art Take in Day 10:00 am - 2:30 pm
    Artists drop off their art for the exhibition and show.
    Artist pick-up required

    CAS Show set up 10:00 am -     Volunteers are needed

    Exhibit & Show Opening     Noon - 4 pm

    Oct 5 - 23 Exhibit/Sales available

    Oct 25 Artists need to pick up unsold artworks 10:00 am - 2:30 pm
