Artistic Connections
Creative Art Society (CAS) is a nonprofit art group in Downriver, Southeastern Michigan. We connect local art communities and support artists. CAS offers scholarships, exhibitions, and learning opportunities for members. We share info on art events, classes, and demos in the area. Our monthly meetings welcome artists of all ages and skill levels. Join us if you enjoy meeting local artists. Meetings are every second Tuesday at 6:30 PM at the Veterans Memorial Library in Southgate, often featuring guest artist demos.
Keeping Local Arts Alive
Art 101 – If you enjoy making art, learning new skills, and sharing with others, Creative Art Society (CAS) is for you. Attend meetings, take classes, or display your art at local events to build your creativity.
Local Exhibits – Interested in art shows or selling your work? CAS connects you with local artists and events.
Support Your Local Art Community – CAS supports the arts in Downriver, Southeastern Michigan. Join us for community art activities.
Your Support Matters – Your membership helps fund exhibits, classes, shows, and student scholarships to promote art education and growth.
Volunteering
Volunteer Opportunities
As a volunteer, you can engage with visual art by creating, displaying, and selling your artwork. We also learn together in this journey. We're glad you've shown interest in joining CAS. If you want to help at art events, share ideas, or assist with our website, please reach out. This includes submitting articles, event details, or photos of your art.
We appreciate support in blogging, content creation, design, sales, marketing, or event assistance. We welcome all ideas from our members, but please note we have a small staff right now, so we may not be able to implement all suggestions. Thank you for your understanding and for any recommendations you provide to help CAS serve you better.

Keeping Your Payments Secure
CAS uses safe payment systems to protect your transactions. You have different payment options on the CAS website, including Stripe, which handles your payments securely.
